I am so excited about this big announcement! Looking forward to a progressive and innovative approach to education with Wilfrid Laurier University and Conestoga College working together to prepare students for the REAL world of the future! This new joint campus promises to be focused on STEAM learning – yes, STEAM, Science – Technology – Engineering – Art – Math. It is very exciting to see the education focus will reflect our current and emerging strength which is Innovation, as we are a part of The Innovation Corridor, which extends from Waterloo all the way to Toronto! This region is also part of the Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster that has been getting so much news coverage lately! It is wonderful that so much government money is being injected into our region!
