Downtown hosts many events such as car shows, the farmers market and one of the Top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario the Downtown Milton Street Festival. There are wonderful places to shop, eat, and explore. A Milton landmark, La Rose Specialty Foods and Fine Italian Bakery is located in Bronte Meadows and has been serving the community since 1982. They provide many services such as wedding cakes, bakery items, delicatessen, fresh produce, hot food and many gift ideas.

Bronte Meadows offers easy access to many recreational facilities and opportunities. John Tonelli Arena located on Laurier Ave has meeting rooms, ice rental and public tennis courts. The Milton Sports Centre located just a short walk away on Santa Maria Boulevard (off Derry Road) offers a wide selection of activities for people of all ages, including swimming, fitness, skating, special interest programs and banquet hall/meeting space rentals. This area is also known for its amazing tobogganing hill at Sixteen Mile Creek as well as near John Tonelli Arena.

Schools In The Neighbourhood!

There are many schools servicing the children in the Bronte Meadows community.

J.M. Denyes Public School is located at 215 Thomas Street in Bronte Meadows. Children who attend this school would do so from junior kindergarten to grade 5. J.M. Denyes is a part of the Halton District School Board.  For Grades 6 to 8, children from J.M. Denyes would then attend W.I. Dick Middle School located in Dorset Park area.

Located in the Bronte Meadows is Milton District Public High School located on Williams Avenue. This school hosts students who are in grades 9 to 12. There is a lot of history in Milton District High School, it opened in 1960 and can call Chris Hadfield, one of the first Canadians in history to walk in space, as one of its alumni.

Our Lady Of Victory Catholic Elementary School is located at 540 Commercial Avenue in Bronte Meadows. Children who attend this school would do so from junior kindergarten to grade 8. Our Lady of Victory is a part of the Halton Catholic District School Board.

The Town of Milton has a Catholic High School that services the Bronte Meadows community. Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School was founded in 1986 and offers grades 9 through 12. The school was named after Bishop Paul Francis Reding, Bishop of Hamilton.

Parks In Bronte Meadows

Fun in Bronte Meadows for the whole family... from playgrounds to ball diamonds, soccer fields and tennis!

Bronte Meadows has 4 community parks. Bronte Meadows Park is located on Laurier Ave and is located next to John Tonelli Arena; it has a splash pad, park for children of all ages, as well as picnic and green space. David Thompson Park runs behind the John Tonelli Arena and Bell Street and has bike and walking paths, a park, and a lot of benches to sit and enjoy the green space and woodlot area. Brian Best Park is located near Milton District High School on Commercial Street, it is known for its ball diamonds and soccer fields. Wakefield Park is another great children’s playground located in this community on Wakefield Road, an excellent park for families.
